During an interview with YouTuber and political commentator Brian Tyler Cohen, the former president was asked:
“Are aliens real?”
It’s the kind of question you’d expect a careful, serious answer to.
His Response Caught People Off Guard
Instead, Obama kept it surprisingly casual.
He replied:
“They’re real… but I haven’t seen them.”
Then he addressed one of the most popular theories out there.
What About Area 51?
Obama went on to dismiss the idea that aliens are secretly being held at the infamous site.
“They’re not being kept in… what is it, Area 51. There’s no underground facility… unless there’s this enormous conspiracy, and they hid it from the president of the United States.”
